See 13th century tiles
During the archaeological work carried out in the past in the church and monastery of the Dominicans of Krakow, about 400 ceramic tiles, dated by specialists to the 13th century, were found. From the collection, 100 pieces were selected and, together with replicas, have been on display for more than a year in our museum. The objects have recently undergone careful care and have been re-arranged in a specially designed display case.
If you are curious about what Dominican ceramics looked like, we invite you to visit the exhibition halls starting tomorrow. We will be back to see you at the current opening days and hours (Thurs.10-16, Fri.10-18, Sat.10-16).
You are warmly welcome!
